School life can at times be a challenging environment for students. Many will have thoughts and feelings that they have trouble managing and which can lead to high levels of stress and reactivity. In some students this can lead to acting out, an inability to form good relationships, disinterest and lethargy or even the beginning of substance abuse.
Mindfulness is not simply for students having difficulties however but can offer something to all. The 8 week program is not just informative but is designed, with its emphasis on practise, to create the possibility of real and substantial change.
