Inside-out has become an integral part of our training Turning the Tide program at Upfield Primary over the past few years. Our children look forward to their Bully-Busters® and Tool Kit for life sessions and so do our staff. We have a population that is CLD, ( Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) and the use of puppetry and role play as well as lots of time for discussion caters well for our children's needs. Carla and Amelia are wonderful presenters who are able to cater for diverse needs of our children. I would recommend them to any school.

The Bully-Busters® program has made a very positive contribution to the cooperative and supportive atmosphere of our school. Carla and Amelia worked with our school community (children parents and staff), presenting information, behaviors and strategies in an honest, non-threatening practical and entertaining manner. The students became better equipped with the strategies to deal with a variety of situations involving themselves and their relationships with their peers. The program is not about bullying, but enables the child to build a positive self image, empowering them to be more responsible for their own behaviours. Our community now has a common language and approach to use for building positive, healthy, assertive behavior.

Bully-Busters® for Kids is and energy charged presentation that targets the "nitty gritty" issues of bullying which students immediately recognize. Through fun filled activities students find innovative, yet straightforward approaches to deal with these issues. Carla and Amelias' approach is fresh and punchy using humor, common sense and compassion in equal measures. Students respond with total involvement and what results is a positive change of attitude and a greater understanding of bullying issues.

Congratulations upon your successful "Bully-Busters®" program. I was delighted to hear of the assertiveness training skills that our young son gained during the sessions. He has subsequently used these skills in the school playground and frequently refers to the content of the program.

He was recently unperturbed by and older boy trying to take his football off him. He claims to have used the "Fogging Technique" until the older boy gave up and went away.

I have also noticed that our younger son has taken to imitating the techniques used even though he has not yet attended the program!

Your insight and empathy in providing children with these much needed life skills is I believe, essential work in our society. Thank you again for providing the opportunity for our son to be part of this cutting edge program.
