Cool Calm Kids helps children from Prep to Year 2 explore better ways to deal with conflict and bossy behaviour in a fun and energetic environment through role-play and participation.
It helps to develop social skills, body awareness and appropriate language early in a child’s life. Students will discover a common language by which they can deal with friendship issues and learn a range of non-violent strategies to deal with peer pressure that are aligned with the ethos of the school.

| The
Developers and Presenters |
The program is designed by Amelia Suckling and Carla Temple (both authors and primary teachers with further educational qualifications). The presentations are delivered by the team at Inside Out Educational Programs, headed by Michael Shaw (B. Ed, Dip. Counselling, Dip. Art Therapy) . They are designed to be lively, fun, stimulating and non-threatening. The program materials have been carefully designed to make the learning experience dynamic and non-competitive. Although the modules can be delivered separately, it is increasingly clear that for a really sound Best Practice approach, schools are wise to have this issue tackled on all three fronts.
